Background
New York’s Museum of Modern Art exhibit for Jean Shin’s Projects 81 needed a brochure that focused on the artist’s current exhibit while still highlighting the rest of her work. I recreated a complete brochure that focused on her career, using colors directly from her work and using provided photos to highlight her attention to detail.
Design Intent
The goal of this project was to build a cohesive brochure that told a story and connected the themes of all the artist’s work. We used photos and picked specific work that supported this project while ensuring that the artist’s creative thinking was being highlighted properly.
Insight
This brochure wasn’t just about selling the upcoming exhibit, it was about celebrating the artist’s body of work and her creative evolution for museum visitors to understand and appreciate further.
Outcome
A fully realized brochure was developed for the museum to print and produce for this upcoming exhibit.
