Twinspire: Together We Inspire
Twinspire is a nonprofit that focuses on providing foster youth across Los Angeles County the resources that will help them succeed, primarily focusing on financial empowerment. Over the course of eight months, we developed a brand kit along with physical and digital deliverables that focus on financial empowerment and overall wellness.

Social Media Templates
Twinspire wanted us to create social media templates and posts that aligned with their target audience. They currently serve foster youth in South LA and wanted to reach youth in those areas.
Financial Empowerment Summit
Twinspire's Financial Empowerment Summit is an annual event for foster youth across LA County where they can learn about the basics of finances including credit, bank accounts and how to properly invest.
For our Financial Empowerment Summit, our campaign was centered around enjoying yourself in Los Angeles while on a budget. In order to promote community, exploration and resourcefulness, we ensured to include events across all of Los Angeles.
Additional Marketing Materials
To aid the branding of this campaign, we developed flyers, post cards, tote bags and t-shirts. These were created to help guests easily understand their schedule and also have memorabilia for the day. Staff, volunteers and interns had their own shirts to be easily identifiable among the crowd.
Breakout room signs were developed to simplify navigation for the event. Slideshows that focused on different aspects of financial literacy were created, really leaning into breaking down that information to be as accessible as possible.
We host monthly group hikes around Los Angeles County. By focusing on creating the experience for others, we shared ways youth could make their hikes more exciting by sharing DIY trail mix recipes.
This encourages resourcefulness by using what they already have and also creativity by encouraging them to make their own snacks.

Design Outcome
A fully realized brand identity was established, leading to an increase in events and physical presence across South Los Angeles. Today, Twinspire continues to use the foundation we provided them as they continue to serve foster youth in Los Angeles and beyond.
Takeaways
Twinspire’s rebrand was more than simply making it look appealing, it was more about meeting their audience where they are with familiar imagery and language, as well as youthful colors and typography. Staff and youth involved in the program continue to express pride in their upbringings and empower others.
